This Year’s Theme: BUILDING BEYOND
We come together at Dance Beyond to co-create a space of celebration, joy, freedom, and embodied connection—but the real work begins when we carry that energy into the world.
As the systems we’ve long relied on become increasingly unstable—from the environment to the economy, from social structures to our sense of collective well-being—it becomes clear that we can no longer wait for change to come from the top down. It’s time to build something new.
This year, we focus on integration—not just experiencing peak moments of transformation, but sustaining them and laying the foundations for a different kind of future. One that is rooted in community, reciprocity, resilience, and a shared commitment to reimagining how we live and care for one another.
Some of our inquiries this year will be:
How do we take the magic of the festival and weave it into our daily lives?
How do we sustain connection, presence, and transformation beyond these few days together?
What are the new systems, practices, and communities we can build together, grounded in love, purpose and collective care?
This is our invitation—to not only dance, but to live beyond the festival.
